Southern Style Creamy Corn Casserole

This casserole is something I make on very rare occasions. Mostly for holiday’s as a side dish.

Southern Style Creamy Corn Casserole

A fairly simple recipe for a creamy corn casserole side dish.
  • 1 Can Whole Kernel Corn
  • 1 Can (smaller can preferably) Cream Corn
  • 1 Stick of Melted Butter
  • 2 Cups Shredded Cheese
  • 1 - 1½ Cups Sour Cream
  • French Fried Onions
  • Tony Chachere's Creole Seasoning
  1. Melt ¼ of the stick of butter.
  2. Smash French Fried Onions.
  3. Mix the butter and onions then make the bottom layer in a casserole dish with mixture.
  4. In a separate bowl mix both cans or corn and butter in microwave until butter is melted.
  5. Add sour cream.
  6. Add creole seasoning.
  7. Pour mixture over bottom layer in casserole dish.
  8. Top generously with cheese.
  9. Bake for about 20-25 mins.
  10. Salt and Pepper to taste.
