Get A Runway Worthy Look

With Fashion Week coming to a close and my notes piled up in front of me, I am not quite ready to bring you a break down of what you are going to see in trend for spring just yet. In the meantime though, I have some great ways to get these runway looks now. Whether it be from the pops of color on your lips to the dramatic smokey eyes, you’ll find some of the ones that I thought to be classic along with a couple fantastic hairstyles you can try. But remember we are ahead of the curve so check out all the Fall Beauty & Hair trends for this season first!

Let’s go for those dramatic smokey runway eyes!

Fill in the lower eyelid just under the crease with  Eye Studio Master Drama Cream Pencil. Then grab some Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner and smudge it a bit over the crease and along the lash lines. {Go with black for both of these} Then just top it off with mascara. I recommend: Volume Express Washable The Falsies Mascara – Black Drama.

Now let’s go for those runway lovely lips!

Having a lipstick brush will help with this! What you need is two lipsticks: Moon Drops Lipstick in Orange Flip and Super Lustrous Lipcolor in Certainly Red. Using the brush, fill the corners of your mouth with the orange. Then use the red to fill in the rest of the lip. If you want to add more shine or gloss, use a touch of gloss on the bottom lip.

Last but not least, those flushed runway cheeks!

Use Fit Me Blush in Medium Coral. Apply it under the cheek bone and lightly above it. It’s going to give you that flushed, I just got done running, runway worthy cheeks!

Now for two fun runway worthy hairstyles:

Jenny Packham Style (top images) Products from Solano and Styled By Leonardo Manetti

1)      Start by separating hair into sections and blow drying with the Solano 3700 Moda Dryer which uses tourmaline, ionic, and far-infrared technology to increase shine and overall hair health. Per Manetti, “As you blow dry each section, marry the newly dried section to the previous one for a sleek and smooth look.”

2)     Once at the ends of the hair, hold the Solano 53mm Plasmium Gel Grip Round Brush  in place for a few seconds. The ceramic technology in the brush acts as a hot tool to give hair a slight bend at the end for more movement.

3)     To finish the look, create a side part 1 ¼” from the beginning of your right brow and straight back to the crown. Smooth flyaways and lock in the sleek style with Solano SleekHeat 450 Flat Iron.

Marc Jacobs Style (bottom images) Product from Goody and Styled By Guido Palau

This sophisticated ‘do can be easily recreated by pulling hair into a tight ponytail and clipping a small section above the pony with a Goody Jenna Barrette. Next tease the top half of your remaining ponytail and fasten again at the nape of the neck for a sophisticated take on “the pouf.” Leave the base of the pony flat and clean.
