Quick and Easy Beans with Cornbread

When I was growing up beans and cornbread was a common meal, along with others, but I remember it the most. Then I remember getting older and the meal was DISGUSTING. I didn’t want to smell it or pretend to eat it.  Of course time goes by and I become a parent and marry into a very southern family. Beans and Cornbread come back into my life and I am delighted to eat it. Now as an adult I make it for my family and love eating it. But let me tell you the truth, I don’t make it old fashioned style. If you haven’t learned by now I like things quick. I have a busy life and huge meals with a lot of prep work are not a hot commodity around here.

So let me get you my recipe for quick and easy beans with cornbread.
