Estee Lauder Fall Makeup Collection

I was skimming through my magazines the other day and trying to find sources of inspiration and various looks I could talk about here. I happened upon an image that I had actually once cut out and pasted onto my Inspiration Board. It’s a very elegant look but I think it could be pretty versatile too, a night out or just a day of running errands could easily be done with this makeup style. So I decided to take sometime looking at it and then I figured I might as well cover how to get this makeup look from Estee Lauder.

Looking at this picture now you have a hard time distinguishing how she is wearing this makeup and which. In the magazine ad, they do cover what she is wearing but I notice some differences in it and can point out ways to get closer to this exact look.

So what you will need to get this look:

Estee Lauder Pure Color Eyeshadow Duo {Modern Mercury BUT Black Chrome & Platinums can be used along with this to get the full look}

Estee Lauder Pure Color Velvet Lipstick {Red Velvet}

Estee Lauder Pure Color Liquid Eyeliner {Black Quartz}

Estee Lauder Mascara {Any in black}

Estee Lauder Pure Color Illuminating Powder

Now how to apply this makeup and get the look:

After you have primed your face and applied your foundation and powder we will start with the eyes.

Apply theĀ  silver from the Modern Mercury to all over your eyes up to the eyebrow {the darker colored of the two}. Use this same color to get in the corner of your eyes and if you see look at the picture it goes maybe a 1/4 of the way across the lower lash line. Basically to where your eyelashes start.

Next look at the upper eyelid below the crease, this is why I advise using the other color palettes too, because it looks like the lighter shade but also looks like the purple from the Platinums. So you chose what you think would be closest. Then apply it to the upper lid below the crease and sweep out lightly to blend it into the other color.

Now grab the Black Chrome and apply that color to the outer corners of your eyes touching on the crease and blending softly around it.

Now use the eyeliner to line your upper lash line and pull it down into the center of your inner eyes. Then go to your lower eyelash line and add the eyeliner to the inside of your lash line.

Add mascara to both the upper and lower lashes and use a second coating on the upper.

Use an eyebrow brush and sweep your eyebrows up and over to give them that soft look that is in the picture.

Finally is adding the illuminating powder to the cheeks and lipstick to your lips.

Voila! Now you are sporting the Estee Lauder Fall Makeup Collection look!
