Get The Cat Eye Look

I love the cat’s eye makeup look and some call it the Cleopatra. It’s very sultry and seductive but it can be very fun too. And if done right it can fake people into believing you have thick, long and beautiful upper eyelashes. Don’t be afraid to play the entire look up or down and use it for a night out, a day at work or just hanging around. It’s a beautiful look that will grow on you quite easily.

And if you read my tutorial on recreating looks you love, it will not be hard to get the cat eye look down pat.

The black eyeliner is applied in a thick line along the lash line but pulled up as you get to the outer corner. There is no contrasting colors of highs and lows and different hues. It’s one color applied either lightly or heavily and going just barely above the crease of your upper eyelid. And for the smoldering look, well use a smudge pot or smolder eyes from Tarte to get the smokiness to it. Using a primer will also help prevent creasing and keep the look flawless.

As a note use the smolderEYES or Smudge Pot to create the base of the look, {the eyeliner on the upper lash line} and use the brush to keep it smooth and noticeable. Use mascara on the upper lashes and maybe a clear mascara on the bottom lashes. Also use the smudge end of the brush for merely creating the smokiness for the night out cat eye look. This look is a smooth and clean finish look.
