8 Skin Care Products For Clear Skin

I have talked extensively about skin care here at SB and I really want to keep you informed of all the products out there on the market that I have personally tried. I would have to say most of the skin care products I have tried are geared towards acne. And not just severe acne, I have tried everything from the normal 1-2 breakouts to as I said the severe ones. Each product I have tried I’ve used longer then a month and some I used within a couple days and noticed a difference.

While each person has different skin and will react differently to each product – it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t research and look into each product as it might just be useful for you. Hopefully the products I cover here and the information I give will give you a start on some new products to try. I’m hoping to bring you a post here shortly covering the basic ingredients in most acne and skin care products and what they do for you. Giving you a better baseline and understanding of what each one is for and how it will help you.

So let’s start on these products you should check out:

Naturally Clear Green Tea Scrub

St. Ives Green Tea Scrub is high on my list. The Salicylic Acid in this product is a very common and great acne fighting medication. The green tea in this product is going to help fight the toxins in your skin but it’s also going to help soothe your skin and battle the redness from breakouts. Even if you have very little to moderate acne this is a great product worth checking out.

mario badescu drying lotion

Mario Badescu’s Drying Lotion is probably my all time favorite product now. I purchased this merely a few days ago. I used it overnight and literally saw a complete difference. This product is jammed packed full of acne fighting medication such as: Calamine, Camphor, Sulfur, Salicylic Acid, Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide. While the bottle is quite small and comes at a high price – I use it as a spot treatment for the breakouts that seem to be pretty bad, and I see this product lasting quite awhile.

Pore Refining Toner

Neutrogena’s Pore Refining Toner is one I purchased when I ran out of my toner from Proactiv. I was concerned that it wasn’t going to be as effective and I was going to be unsatisfied. I wasn’t. I am happily using this product still and I will continue to do so. The ingredients in this product too are targeted to beautiful and great skin care (With Hazel, Alcohol, Salicylic Acid, Aloe, Castor Oil) and while I may not see a large noticeable difference – I feel it.

Naturals Purifying Pore Scrub

Yes another Neutrogena product but this is Neutrogena Naturals. I purchased this product when I ran out of my Dermalogica Pre-Cleanse. I am not going to say they are the same as they aren’t. But I needed an affordable product to pre-wash my face before using my Proactiv. I wanted something that wasn’t going to be harsh and kill my skin. This is the product to fit the job. It has a smooth texture but you can feel the “scrub” part so you know it’s getting in those pores and cleaning your skin. I use this every night when I wear makeup all day prior to using my acne medicated products and for a month now I have had no issues or bad reactions.

aubrey organics

Aubrey Organics carries six 3 Step Skin Care products that all are highly worthy of a mention. They all carry natural ingredients that fight toxins, soothe skin and even have a line for sensitive skin. You will find green tea, aloe, sea buckthorn and much more in each line. Regardless of what one might think, sometimes your skin can use a break from the harsh chemicals you are using to battle skin problems and these products are the key to that.

image medicated acne skin care

Image Skincare has a wide selection of skin care products but the the Clear Cell is geared toward those with breakout prone skin. In this products not only will you find the typical acne fighting ingredients but also those like Chamomile and Tea Tree to help soothe and nourish skin. They even have a line of products packed full of antioxidants and vitamin c. All things your skin will love and need.

stella bella

Stella Bella is a local boutique here in Arizona. They have mineral cosmetics and botanically based skin care products. Their skin care line of products include amazing ingredients like sage, citrus and even a peptide treatment. And while we know anti-microbial and other like skin care products are fantastic – we always need to invest in great antioxidant products too.

colorscience cleanserColorscience Pro and it’s illuminating cleanser is a unique skin care product and while pricey one worthy of looking into. It’s a deep cleanser and exfoliant but it also is able to not strip your skin down and helps keep the good in and bad out. But you will still find the products that matter like Salicylic Acid in some of their products. Which we should know by now is obviously common in skin care products.

What are some products and brands that you love and think deserve a mention when it comes to skin care?
